I looked for a LONG time for a wooden toilet seat for my mother when I finally came across this one. It was pretty pricey, but I was willing to pay it as it was solid wood. The seat itself is beautiful. However, there was a chip in the wood from being damaged during shipment. I wish companies would take the time and SECURELY package items for shipment. The seat was put in a shallow box, taped and shipped...no padding, bubble wrap, peanuts...nothing to protect the seat from any kind of drop or impact. If it hadn't been a gift, I would've returned it.

Bought this for my Adirondack cabin with pine cone theme bathroom. Quality appears to be good, look is very nice but I thought a little expensive. However, I am very pleased with the purchase.

Just what I wanted.
